Octave Landuyt (°1922) is a painter, sculptor, ceramist, jewellery designer, graphic designer, industrial designer, stage and costume designer. His works tell about life and death, about carnality and about decay. The tragic, the fantastic and the surreal take on new forms each time in his work. "Reality surpasses imagination," is one of his favorite sayings.
