Eduardo Chillida - André Verroken
Confessiones brought together the work of Spanish artist Eduardo Chillida and Flemish designer André Verroken in the historic setting of the Landcommandery van Alden Biesen. The title Confessiones refers to the life story of the Church Father Augustine and to the spiritual ambition of the work on display. Eduardo Chillida is considered one of the great artists of the twentieth century. He participated several times in international exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale and Documenta Kassel. His work can be found in all the major museums of post-war art but also in cities such as Barcelona, Berlin, Frankfurt and Paris.
