COMBAT was an artistic battle between the dynamism and intensity of Koen Vanmechelen's work and the splendour and power of German knighthood of the Land Commandery of Alden Biesen. This exhibition placed Koen Vanmechelen's research in the spaces of the historic moated castle. The historical pedigree of a knightly order in confrontation with the chicken pedigree of the Cosmopolitan Chicken Project.
