Fred Eerdekens 

Fred Eerdekens’ work in general can be interpreted through the use of language and light as matter. His works are often opposites of what can really be seen and read: they suggest that both answers of the opposition are viable, and, even more contradictory, both are viable precisely because they exist simultaneously. Fred Eerdekens does not take a position. It must be filled in by each viewer individually.
